Obilli — Freelance Marketplace
My first client project: a Fiverr-style marketplace connecting freelancers with clients. The first build taught me everything I was still missing — so I came back and rebuilt it properly.
Overview
Obilli was my first client project. It shipped and it worked, but the codebase was a mess — disorganised, hard to scale, painful to maintain. I handed it over knowing I still had a lot to learn. A year later, after more projects and some time working with professional teams, I came back and rebuilt it from scratch. The difference between the two versions is the clearest sign of how much I've improved. The product is a Fiverr-style marketplace connecting freelancers with clients: services, seller profiles, search and browsing, and signup for both sides. I left it in the portfolio on purpose.
